A bit of story...

Arthrosis of the spine is as old as time.

The skeletons of dinosaurs 200 million years ago of human beign from Java 500,000 years ago, and Neanderthal man 40,000 years before Christ, showed characteristic lesions of arthrosis.

It is present after 40 years and affects 5% of people. Arthrosis is a degenerative process of articular cartilage caused mainly by a daily wearing that thins and breaks down the cartilage and affects the movement of the joint.

Arthrosis occurs when the cartilage that serves to cushion blows between a bone and the other is altered, the two ends of the bones are close, they change shape and begin to rub against each other causing severe pain and reducing the mobility. The pain may be a result of physical effort, a strong muscle stiffness that restricts movement and leads the individual to immobilize the joint in the position less painful.

It may be made along the edges of the altered joints, small bumps or spurs, called osteophytes, which can cause irradiated pain and restrict movement. Arthrosis is more strongly in the joints that hold the weight of the body: the spine, hips, knees.

The women are more frequently affected:

- The cervical spine and spinal
- Hip
- Hands and feet;

- The lumbar region
- Shoulder
- Elbows and wrists

A worn joint by age can become painful when different conditions such as trauma, obesity, metabolic imbalances and poor eating habits coexist together.

Featured Movements

Psychomotor movements are recommended for people with arthritis, to increase mobility in the joints and at the same time strengthen muscles, tendons and ligaments.

- Rotation of the spine in sitting position and elongated on the side
- Rotation of the shoulder
- Pelvic clock and tilting of the basin

Because this is a movement disorder, movement showed on the website could bring just temporary relief.

In order to get a result that makes you feel a significant improvement in body, we recommend staying at the center to receive a series of lessons where the teacher can observe, move, make you feel, improve mobility and range of the movement of joints' articulation, so that the person may feel better and have the perception of having recovered part of the health he had lost.
